S I N O P S I S
Siapa sangka kalau sebuah pesan yang tak diketahui asalnya bisa menjadi penyebab kematian? Tak ada yang menyangka memang tapi itulah yang terjadi pada beberapa remaja yang tiba-tiba saja mendapat pesan email dan SMS ini. Tugas mereka sebenarnya terdengar sederhana: melanjutkan pesan yang mereka terima ini ke orang lain. Sayang dalam kenyataannya misi ini tak semudah mengucapkannya.
Tak ada yang percaya kalau pesan ini benar-benar serius sampai dua dari remaja yang menerima pesan ini dan tak menghiraukannya berakhir tewas mengenaskan. Jessie Campbell (Nikki Reed) adalah orang yang pertama kali melihat kaitan antara pesan-pesan misterius ini dengan kematian Johnny Jones (Matt Cohen) dan Dante (Noah Segan).
Jessie dan kawan-kawannya mencoba meminta bantuan pada orang tua mereka namun seperti bisa diduga, tak ada yang percaya cerita mereka. Polisi yang menerima laporan mereka pun tak menghiraukan mereka karena menganggap para remaja ini hanya mencari sensasi saja. Tak ada yang percaya sampai seorang polisi bernama Jim Crenshaw (Keith David) menyadari kalau ia pun jadi korban dari surat berantai ini.

Juliet memang ingin memulai hidup baru sejak ia memutuskan berpisah dari suaminya. Apartemen ini adalah langkah awal Juliet memulai hidup baru itu. Awalnya memang tak ada masalah. Selain itu, Juliet tahu kalau menempati apartemen baru adalah hal yang biasa dan tak ada yang perlu dikhawatirkan. Celakanya, dugaan Juliet ini tak sepenuhnya benar. Pelan-pelan Juliet mulai merasakan keanehan yang terjadi di sekitarnya.
Ia merasa kalau ia tak sendiri di dalam apartemennya. Berbagai kejadian aneh itu membuat Juliet mulai merasa resah. Juliet tahu ada yang mengawasi dirinya meski ia tak bisa membuktikan apapun. Di luar pengetahuan Juliet, ternyata Max (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), pemilik apartemen yang ia sewa ternyata punya niat jahat terhadap Juliet. S I N O P S I S

John tak mau menyerah meskipun ia harus membagi waktu antara menjadi dosen, merawat anak mereka sekaligus mencari cara untuk membuktikan bahwa Laura tak bersalah. Walaupun John sudah menempuh segala cara namun Laura tetap saja terbukti bersalah dan harus menjalani masa hukuman. Di saat kritis ini, Laura jadi punya tendensi untuk bunuh diri dan ini makin membuat John resah.
Kini pilihan John semakin terbatas. Ia tak mungkin membiarkan istrinya mendekam dalam penjara namun segala cara sudah ia tempuh dan hasilnya tetap tak ada. Satu-satunya cara yang tersisa adalah dengan merancang skenario untuk melarikan Laura dari penjara. Berhasil atau gagal, rencana ini tetap saja akan menghancurkan segala yang telah ia miliki namun di titik ini John sepertinya sudah tak peduli lagi.
